Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Chairside (“the Service”), operated by Haiway Technologies LLC (“Chairside,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use Chairside

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Shop owners pay a monthly subscription (Starter $49, Pro $99, Elite $179 as of May 21, 2026). Stripe handles all billing. You can change tier or cancel anytime via the in-app billing portal.

Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. If a payment fails, your shop may be suspended after 7 days of attempted retries.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Chairside to:

5. Your content

You own the content you put into Chairside — your shop name, bios, photos, booking notes, and so on. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display it so we can run the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload anything you upload (photos of barbers, etc.).

6. Termination

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — usually after a warning, but immediately for things like fraud, attacks on the platform, or illegal activity.

7. Service availability

We do our best to keep Chairside running 24/7 but we don't guarantee zero downtime. Scheduled maintenance and rare outages happen. We aim to communicate them in advance when planned and quickly when not.

8. Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement) and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Changes to these terms

When we materially change these terms, we'll update the “Last updated” date and email account holders before they take effect. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that can't be resolved amicably go to the state and federal courts in Harris County, Texas.
