Chairside is a booking platform for barbershops, operated by Haiway Technologies LLC (“Chairside,” “we,” “us”). This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

HaiWay Technologies LLC (operating Chairside) may send you SMS text messages related to your barbershop appointments, including booking confirmations, reminders, and walk-in queue notifications, when you opt in at the point of booking. By checking the SMS consent checkbox on the booking form, you consent to receive automated text messages from the barbershop you are booking with, sent via the Chairside platform. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. We do not share, sell, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent data to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Where the data lives

Customer data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) on infrastructure located in the United States. Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional email is delivered through Resend. Text messages are sent through Twilio. Each of these services has its own privacy terms; we don't expose your data to them beyond what each one needs to do its job.

We do not sell your data, run ads against it, or share it with third parties for marketing.

5. What shop owners can see

When you book at a shop, that shop's owner and barbers can see your name, phone number (if provided), booking history at their shop, and any notes the barber adds. They cannot see your bookings at any other shop on Chairside.

Chairside isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

When we materially change this policy, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top and email account holders for significant changes.
